HIGH SCHOOL2003 graduate of St. Bonaventure's & St. Angela's .. played competitive tennis in both the Junior and Senior National Championships in England and Played ITF tournaments in Saudi Arabia, Scotland, and England.
The Citadel tennis team and head coach Toby Simpson was proudly announced the signing of Derek Jose of London, England to their 2003 recruiting class. He was the first tennis player signed for the upcoming season. We are thrilled and excited about Derek coming to the Bulldog, stated Coach Simpson. Derek has lot of good experience and looked upon to upon to step in play from the start.
Derek has been playing competitive tennis since age 10. He has competed in tournaments on county, regional, national, and international. Derek has been coached by Peter Fleming at the Queens Club in London, England. Mr. Fleming is the former doubles partner of John McEnroe. Derek is son of Jose Alexander and Mary Jose and has a sister, Colleen. SINGLES
